Mild, lonely Graham Whittaker finds life becoming complicated when his mother reunites with old flame Frank Turnbull. Graham becomes increasingly jealous and suspicious when Mr Turnbull achieves an ever-growing hold on Mam. When Frank proposes marriage and suggests Graham moves out of the house and into a hostel, Graham's whole life is turned upside down. But can Graham battle his own demons and convince Mam that Turnbull isn't to be trusted?

A Lady of Letters
