Stage2 presentsOur Day Out21st - 23rd July 2011 at 7.30pm in The Main House Matinee: 23rd at 2.00pm Stage2 return with another great summer party production, filled with a cacophony of character, colour and calamity!! Our Day Out is a fun filled fabulous musical feast. The 'progress' class are off on a school trip! They visit a cafe, a zoo, a castle, a beach, a fairground with varying degrees of delight and success, before heading home on the coach reflecting on the day's 'events'. As the kids 'cop off' and the teachers 'tell off' we see perceptions change as characters collude and collide outside the classroom. Stage2's young cast bring this play bang up to date with mobile phones, the latest pop tunes, references to Facebook and lots of LOLs!! This play has a poignancy and a real affection for its believable and recognisable characters. The music and the message will resonate with you long after you leave the theatre! Tickets: £9.00 |
