One Step Musical Theatre presents Songs for a New World, a concept musical written and composed by Jason Robert Brown.

The musical is a series of songs all connected by one theme; "It's about one moment. It's about hitting the wall and having to make a choice, or take a stand, or turn around and go back." (Jason Robert Brown)

This production features University of Wolverhampton Musical Theatre students, studying at Dudley College. Performers in this company have previously staged productions of Into the Woods, Godspell, Chess and Hot Mikado. Songs for a New World marks their debut performance as One Step Musical Theatre Company.
