The Half Moon Comedy ClubMonday 10th October at 8.30pm in the Bar![]() The Crescent Theatre's semi-regular comedy is back with another fabulous line-up for The Birmingham Comedy Festival! Headliner - Andy Robinson Andy Robinson has been performing comedy for fifteen years and will continue to do so until he marries into royalty. At the Glastonbury Festival in 1993, Andy won a competition for perspiring young comedians. This first encounter of the sweaty world of stand-up gave him a real insight into a life of comedy. He has some rather fine jokes to tell as well as a musical element to his act that's different every time. "Andy Robinson is the comedy equivalent of gold dust, pure talent just waiting to be discovered" (The Guardian) Ben Davids Since starting stand-up in 2007, Ben Davids has gone on to establish himself as a solid and funny act with his original and silly gags and one-liners. In 2010 he was selected to be a warm up act at the Rock With Laughter show at the LG Arena where he performed in front of 20,000 people over two nights alongside acts like Alan Carr, Ed Byrne and Rolf Harris! "For such a young comic, he has an assured stage presence and bagful of hilarious deadpan one liners… Definitely an act to look out for in the future." – Who's Laughing Now? Tom Roche With 500 plus gigs under his belt, Tom's an experienced act with "cracking material and enough energy to light a kettle in a powercut." Spotlight Comedy Lovdev Barpaga A dead pan one-liner comic, Lovdev has a unique style and clever gags. "Decent cache of jokes and careful delivery this man hit the spot with the audience last night - MIRTH ON MONDAY Kerry Murdock MC - Craig Deeley Brummie lad Craig Deeley has performed stand-up all over the country since 2004, when he was a semi-finalist in Channel 4's 'So You Think You're Funny' competition at the Edinburgh festival and regional finalist in Jongleurs Last Laugh competition.
