Old friends Leontes (King of Sicilia) and Polixenes (King of Bohemia) are enjoying each other’s company until Leontes becomes convinced that his wife Hermione is enjoying Polixenes company a little too much.

He accuses Hermione of carrying Polixenes’ child and throws her into jail, where she gives birth to a daughter that Leontes orders to be abandoned to wild animals.

So begins Act one! The Winter’s Tale is an intense psychological drama that takes you on a roller coaster of events that are ultimately resolved in a most unexpected way.

Brimming with seduction, revenge, love and betrayal Les Liaisons dangereuses evokes the grandeur and debauchery of 18th-century France, taking its inspiration from Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’ novel of the same name.

What begins as a spiteful request develops into a risky wager and ends in a fatal battle of wills. It’s easy to see why Hollywood embraced Christopher Hampton’s play - innocence lost, love rejected and lives ruined, Les Liaisons dangereuses leaves a trail of emotional destruction in its wake.

Set in 1911, Milan Stitt's suspenseful play is based on a true story, in which a Catholic priest was accused of murdering a nun in his charge in the desolate landscape of the American Midwest’s Upper Peninsula.

Catholic dogma and individual will collide, as the play exposes a town’s hypocrisy and the story of a soul struggling to preserve its integrity unfolds.
