Big Brum presents
Siege
An extraordinary new play by Chris Cooper
17th Dec 2007 at 7.30 in the Ron Barber Studio Theatre
Rubble and dust. A room with a shattered window. A door without a wall. Inside a man watches and waits.
“They’ll flatten everything. Paving the way for democracy.”
In the distance a city burns; those who were able to have escaped. A young woman seeks refuge in the ruins. A soldier falters on the relentless march south. The siege is coming to an end and it’s time to pick up the pieces and move on to the next one.
