Set on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland in the 1930s. Word arrives on Inishmaan that a Hollywood director is coming to the neighbouring island of Inishmore to make a film. The one person who wants to be in it more than anyone is the young Cripple Billy.

Amazing, funny, sad and darkly comic.
