The Gas Man Cometh Main House
Northern Theatre Company
31 March 2004 at 7.30pm
Tickets 12 (Concessions 10)
The award-winning Northern Theatre Company play Birmingham's Crescent Theatre on Wednesday 31 March as part of their National Tour, with their acclaimed Flanders & Swann revue. The show has been delighting audiences around the country and won a "5 Stars" review at the Edinburgh Festival.
Iain Thompson and Daniel Sproats' renditions of Madeira M'Dear, The Gnu and The Hippopotamus Song come alive again in this celebration of absurdist wit and wickedly subversive lunacy.
An evening of delightful music and evocative songs will bring back happy memories of Flanders & Swann and will be a revelation to those who missed the shows the first time round.
Flanders & Swann's two-man show At The Drop of a Hat was a smash hit and ran for over three years in the West End, followed by a worldwide tour. The two performed in revues for over thirty years.
"Fun, Fun. Glorious Fun...an enchanting show - abundantly talented performers" The Scotsman
