First performed by the National Youth Theatre in 1967 this play took audiences and critics by storm. Its impact is as shocking and its themes even more topical today. Set on the chanting, jeering terraces of City Club, it inhabits the world of football hooligans, youths with or without dead-end jobs and their present excitement and future faith all turning on the Football.
