Two middle aged women from Belfast have made the trip to Donegal to see their idol, singer-celebrity Daniel O'Donnell.  Vera has been left  by her husband, Dessie, for a younger woman, Susie, whilst Anna is trapped in a loveless marriage with Marty.

During a night of candid and humorous revelations the two women confront Dessie, Marty, Susie and each other, accompanied by the wailing banshee.
