Two sisters, Isobel and Marion, gather at the home of their late father for his funeral where Katherine, their young alcoholic stepmother, announces her intention of joining Isobel’s design company. Isobel agrees and this paves the way for tragedy and disaster involving Isobel’s lover Irwin and Marion’s evangelical husband Tom. This is an examination of the fragility of human relationships.
